Description : Juniper Berry essential oil is known to relax muscles, and reduce pain and inflammation. It increases circulation, helps to reduce water retention, and is used to treat cellulite. As a stimulant, it is energizing, and helps reduce tiredness and anxiety.

Use : Prevent or naturally remedy urinary tract infections and bladder infections, natural remedies for fighting skin irritations and infections, help stimulate digestive enzymes, reduce physical and emotional signs of stress, treat heartburn and acid reflux.

Blend well with : Vetiver, Sandalwood, Cedarwood, Clary Sage, Lavender, Lavandin, Geranium, citruses, and coniferous oils like Pine Needle and Cypress.

Direction:
Oil Burner: Add 4 drops of essential oil for a burning time of 20 minutes.
Massage: Dilute 3-5 drops of essential oil in 10 ml. of carrier oil.
Inhalation: Put 5 drops in 200 ml. of steamed water and inhale for 3-5 minutes.
Bath: Put 15 drops of essential oil  in the bath tub for a 20 minutes bath.

Precautions : It is considered non-toxic but since it can stimulate the uterine muscle it should not be used during pregnancy, nor by people with kidney problems. It is non-sensitizing, but some people do have a reaction to it, and it is generally wise to us this oil in moderation.
