1. Thoroughly wet your entire body under the running water.
2. Pour a small amount of body wash (about the size of a quarter) onto your hand, a washcloth, or a loofah/sponge. If you're using a washcloth or loofah, it will help exfoliate your skin, removing dead skin cells and providing a deeper clean.
3. Rub your hands, washcloth, or loofah together to create a lather. The lather helps to distribute the body wash evenly and makes it more effective at cleaning your skin.
4. Gently massage the lather onto your body using circular motions. Start from your neck and work your way down, covering all areas of your body. Be sure to clean under your arms, behind your knees, and between your toes, as these areas tend to accumulate dirt and sweat.
5. Rinse your body thoroughly under the running water, ensuring that you wash off all the body wash lather. Not rinsing well can leave residue on your skin, causing irritation or dryness.
6. Gently pat yourself dry with a clean towel, rather than rubbing vigorously, to avoid irritating your skin.
7. Apply a moisturizer or body lotion to your skin to lock in moisture and keep it hydrated.
