Therapeutic properties :  anti-depressant, antiseptic, aphrodisiac, anti-spasmodic, cicatrisant, expectorant, galactagogue, parturient, sedative and uterine.

Description :  Jasmine Absolute is calming and emotionally-balancing and helps promote confidence, optimism, and creativity. It is a well-known aphrodisiac.  Jasmine Absolute helps support healthy reproductive, immune, and respiratory systems. It is moisturizing and soothing when used in hair and skin care products, especially with dry, irritated, or sensitive skin.

Use : Severe depression and soothes the nerves, producing a feeling of confidence, optimism and euphoria, helps with sexual problems such as impotence, premature ejaculation and frigidity, helps with muscle pain, sprains, and stiff limbs, tones dry, greasy, irritated and sensitive skin, increases elasticity andassist with stretch marks and to reduce scarring.

Blend well with : Rose, Sandalwood, Clary Sage, and citruses.

Direction:
Oil Burner: Add 4 drops of essential oil for a burning time of 20 minutes.
Massage: Dilute 3-5 drops of essential oil in 10 ml. of carrier oil.
Inhalation: Put 5 drops in 200 ml. of steamed water and inhale for 3-5 minutes.
Bath: Put 15 drops of essential oil  in the bath tub for a 20 minutes bath.

Precautions : Jasmine oil is non-toxic, non-irritant and generally non-sensitizing, although some people do have an allergic reaction to the oil. Due to its emmenagogue properties it should not be used in pregnancy. Using too much of this oil could impede concentration, as it is a deeply relaxing oil.
