Therapeutic properties  :  Antiseptic, antiviral, bactericide, cytophylactic, digestive, febrifuge and hydrating.

Description :  Palmarosa essential oil is warming to the body. It relaxes muscles, lessens pain, and reduces inflammation. It is mood uplifting. It also is known for its healing, regenerating, and moisturizing effects on the skin. Palmarosa moisturizes and helps balance sebum production for dry, oily, or combination skin types, improving the appearance of skin.

Use : Calms the mind, yet has an uplifting effect, clear muddled thinking, counter physical and nervous exhaustion, cool the body of fever,  aid in the digestive system, help to clear intestinal infection, digestive atonia and anorexia nervosa, relieve sore and stiff muscles, moisturizes the skin, while balancing the hydration levels and stimulating cell regeneration, balance production of sebum, use with acne, dermatitis, preventing scarring, rejuvenating and regenerating the skin.

Blend well with : Geranium, Sandalwood, Cedarwood, Chamomile, Patchouli, citruses, and florals like Rose.

Direction:
Oil Burner: Add 4 drops of essential oil for a burning time of 20 minutes.
Massage: Dilute 3-5 drops of essential oil in 10 ml. of carrier oil.
Inhalation: Put 5 drops in 200 ml. of steamed water and inhale for 3-5 minutes.
Bath: Put 15 drops of essential oil  in the bath tub for a 20 minutes bath.

Precautions : Palmarosa oil has no known contra indications and is considered a non-toxic, non-irritant and non-sensitizing essential oil.
