Grapefruit Essential Oil

Therapeutic properties  :  Antidepressant, antiseptic, aperitif, diuretic, disinfectant, lymphatic stimulant, tonic and anti-infectious.

Description : Grapefruit essential oil cooling to the body. It is refreshing and energizing. It is an anti-depressant, and it reduces stress. It improves mental clarity and memory. In addition, it is a diuretic, used to treat cellulite, and has a purifying effect on the body .

Use : Protect against colds and flu, remove excess water from the body and great for treating cellulite, has an uplifting effect on the mood and helps with stress and depression, combat muscle fatigue and stiffness while stimulating the lymphatic syste, clearing the body of toxins, clear congested oily skin,  assists with acne and toning the skin and tissues.

Blend well with : Lemon, Palmarosa, Bergamot, Linden Blossom, Sandalwood, Neroli, Rosemary, Cypress, Lavender, and Geranium.

Direction:
Oil Burner: Add 4 drops of essential oil for a burning time of 20 minutes.
Massage: Dilute 3-5 drops of essential oil in 10 ml. of carrier oil.
Inhalation: Put 5 drops in 200 ml. of steamed water and inhale for 3-5 minutes.
Bath: Put 15 drops of essential oil  in the bath tub for a 20 minutes bath.

Precautions : Grapefruit oil is non-toxic, non-irritant, non-sensitizing and although listed as non-phototoxic, it can irritate the skin if exposed to strong sunlight after treatment.
