Description :  Peppermint essential oil is cooling to the body, and is known to relax muscles and muscle pain. It stimulates oil production in dry skin and hair. It is refreshing, energizing, and helps to relieve fatigue. It improves mental clarity, and memory. It increases physical strength, and soothes itching skin. Peppermint is also known to deter mice, ants, and spiders.

Use : Excellent for mental fatigue and depression, refreshing the spirit and stimulating mental agility and improving concentration, helps for apathy, shock, headache, migraine, nervous stress, vertigo and faintness , stimulates the gall bladder and the secretion of bile, use for colic, cramps, dyspepsia, spastic colon, flatulence and nausea and can relieve pain in cases of toothache, aching feet, rheumatism, neuralgia, muscular pains and painful periods, relieve skin irritation and itchiness and also helps to reduce skin redness, use for dermatitis, acne, ringworm, scabies and pruritus and also relieves itching, sunburn and inflammation of the skin.

Blend well with : Rosemary, Lavender, Marjoram, Lemon, Eucalyptus, and other mints.

Direction:
Oil Burner: Add 4 drops of essential oil for a burning time of 20 minutes.
Massage: Dilute 3-5 drops of essential oil in 10 ml. of carrier oil.
Inhalation: Put 5 drops in 200 ml. of steamed water and inhale for 3-5 minutes.
Bath: Put 15 drops of essential oil  in the bath tub for a 20 minutes bath.

Precautions : Peppermint oil is non-toxic and non-irritant in low dilutions, but sensitization may be a problem due to the menthol content. It can cause irritation to the skin and mucus membranes and should be kept well away from the eyes. It should be avoided during pregnancy and should not be used on children under seven.
